Batter Prep
  1. Cream the butter and brown sugar in a mixer.
  2. Add whipping cream and powdered sugar on low speed.
  3. Mix in spices; adjust to taste. I prefer a lot of cinnamon and nutmeg.
To Serve
  1. Scoop a heaping spoonful into an empty mug.
  2. Pour a shot (or double shot) of rum over it.
  3. Fill the rest of the mug with boiling water.
  4. Stir well and enjoy!
Recipe Notes

Use batter immediately or freeze it for up to 3 months. Perfect for a little warm-up on a long, dark night.

You can halve the recipe for a smaller party.
